Lachanel Case

I have an old Lachenal 20b and am looking for a wooden case in good condition. Anyone know where/how much I might find and expect to pay for one?

As nice as it is to have an original case, it isn't the best way to store a concertina. They need to be kept in the same position as you play them, otherwise the valve leathers get set into a curled shape. I never use my original cases, but keep my instruments in small "women's vanity" cases that I get fairly cheaply (13UKP)from 'Matalan'. Before that, I used 45 rpm record cases. If you do get an old case,

remember that you need to store it on its side, rather than with the handle on top.
