Guest mattCD Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Is the stagi mini english the same range(sound not notes) as a typical treble EC or does it have a higher pitch? And while I'm posting are piano accordions unisonoric like an EC?
Ransom Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 If you're talking about the Stagi A-18, it doesn't go as low or as high as a 48-key concertina. Piano accordions are unisonoric.

Id say the sound is the 'same' but maybe just slightly different, taking into account the smaller size of the Stagi (so it's not as rich-sounding). I like the sound of the Stagi, in fact. Mine needs a little repair on the strap attachment, so I seldom play it.
