Hi all,

Apologies for crashing straight into these forums with an add. I've been a long term lurker and non-learner frankly. I just can't divert time from bass playing duties elsewhwere to make a go of this.

Anyway, you only want to hear about the instrument. It's the usual entry level Rochelle Anglo bought from a very decent chap on these very forums exactly two years ago. I hope he won't mind if I repeat the description here.

Concertina is a 30 button (C/G) Anglo in very good condition and is about 3 years old adding my "non" use of the instrument to it's original fifteen months. The concertina comes with the maker's tutor book and a soft gig bag (broken zip clasp, so you'll need to be armed with a safety pin).

The Rochelle is made by Concertina Connection (Wim Wakker), who state that "we made all the important features, such as the keyboard layout, spacing of the keys, key diameter, key travel, number of bellows folds, type of hand straps etc, identical to traditional anglo concertinas, to ensure a smooth transition to a higher class concertina later on".

The specifications of this Anglo concertina are as follows :

* black (gloss) body, straps and bellows, and white keys

* 30 keys, in C/G tuning

* standard Wheatstone/Lachenal keyboard layout, spacing, key diameter and key travel

* 7 fold bellows

* traditional hand straps

* accordion-type steel reeds

* soft bag

I'm in Portsmouth and can arrange to meet up anywhere below the M4 or I'll post with postage (and insurance) at cost within the UK
