Despite the wet looking weather, it looks like you had a lot of fun, as did the public.

Just stumbled on some of the things nice people said about Liddepool outing

Ouch! .... Still thesession was never a place for the faint hearted.

(And the timing WAS bad ... mostly because the acoustics were dreadful)

Discovered more things from nice people (yes, my syntax and grammar are deliberate)

So I popped a few thoughts in, generated telepathically by aliens from Spacedrell Bank.

Stumbled on the Session comments which then linked through to here and thought the "people's video" of the event might put a slightly different light on how things can go - the music also generally matched some of the players in the pics rather than in the "official one". Sessionisti who read here might know how to link this to the other site.

You can jump the noisy mixed up musical photo journey into Liverpool and the competition from the Steel Band and hit the snippets at 3mins or so.

It may also show the kinds of spatial problems that can occur, no matter how much you plan. Your space needs to allow you to make a pincer movement and the two areas were a much more difficukt broad front. We also had to try to time a gap to avoid conflict with a massively amplified singer a 100 yards up near Central Station.

Bear in mind these shots were taken by a lowly player struggling with their instrument as well as snapping with a camera slung from their neck....

And after the two 'hits' in town there was a good session mixed with sausage and mash and ale at The Baltic Pub with some transition photos before a bit of video.

Most important, we all enjoyed ourselves and gave the punters a little fun for the day.
