Concertina part-playing session @ Tenterden Festival, 3rd. October

Recommended Posts

Spare Parts Concertina Band are doing a part-playing session for concertinas at the Tenterden Folk Festival, (http://www.folkspots.btinternet.co.uk/trust/tfdt.htm) UK, on Sunday 3rd. October in the White Lion Saddlery from 3.00 - 4.30 p.m. Bryan Creer has put the tunes on the band website in pdf and midi (two speeds) form: http://www.sparepartsband.co.uk/SPTunes.php. The tunes are

From Night Til Morn

Down The Road

She's Sweetest When She's Naked.

The arrangements would suit any melody instrument. Feel free to download them even if you're not coming to the session. You can get in for a small charge on the door.

We're also running a pub tunes session at some point during the weekend.

Tootle pip,

Valmai

I'll try that band link again: http://www.sparepart...uk/SPTunes.php. Failing that, try going to the Tunes page from the home page of the band website http://www.sparepart...uk/SPindex.php.

If it doesn't work for you, email me on valmaigoodyear [at] aol [dot] com.

You included a dot at the end of the URL in the link.

This should work:

http://www.sparepart....uk/SPTunes.php

Sorry Leonard, but your amended link doesn't work either. It's not just the dot at the end. For some reason, the url gets corrupted, during the 'add reply' phase. If I leave a space between http: and //www. etc, it prints OK, so you need to copy and paste and remove the space. :) See the difference!

How wierd. The original link works for me now. Must have had a gremlin that night. BTW, why does it replace 'co' in the url with two dots, following 'add reply'? Anyone know?

To prevent further thread drift I reacted in the 'Forum Question' forum: http://www.concertin...ndpost&p=116631
