Valmai Goodyear Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 ... and quite possibly lose. Many thanks to Mike Ainscough for putting this dreadful warning on YouTube. The arrangement is from one of Matt Seattle's excellent Airs for Pairs books, the only change apart from the involuntary variations being that I've dropped the harmony line an octave. Valmai

The arrangement is from one of Matt Seattle's excellent Airs for Pairs books, the only change apart from the involuntary variations being that I've dropped the harmony line an octave. Valmai Very nice playing Val and Brian. The tune is believed to have its origin in a tune composed by the 17th cent. composer, Henry purcell. Despite his short life, Purcell wrote some exeedingly good tunes in his day. He is considered to be the father of Baroque (and roll). This tune, when played in sessions, is often, humourously, referred to as the 'ATM'! Chris Edited September 9, 2010 by Chris Drinkwater

Chris Drinkwater Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Nice tune , Chris if I put in my PIN will it come out automatically? Well, you'd probably get some notes out but whether they be the right notes to make up the melody, is another matter. Chris
