Richard Mellish Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 Thanks Leonard. Reading through that thread I see that I had even commented there myself, on pages 14 and 15. Maybe the three (or more) threads about dating Lachenals should be cross-linked?
bjorn Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 (edited) Hello, i just became the owner of a Lachenal & Co english concertina with serial number 52208. Is it possible to calculate/estimate the date? there is 1 bolt broken. 1 of the 6 holding the concertina together. Where can i find the right one? It does not seems easy to find the right one. Thanks helping me! bjorn Edited October 3, 2023 by bjorn Type fault
wes williams Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Hi Bjorn, We'd estimate it as circa 1911. Please post things like this to the Dating a Lachenal From The Serial Number thread, so we can keep things in one place. 1
Karen P Posted February 20 Posted February 20 I have a Lachenal New Model, 5 fold bellows, 48 button treble, steel reeds. SN 44723. Missing label. Found this written inside the bellows.
