Fernando Thanks Mike Leo and Fernando Both my compositions.(based on English Traditional style) Archie is my little Grandson and at the time of writing was always falling over, to get up and then down again.This little tune was written for him. Just a note, I think minor tunes are not rare in every tradition. I think that most breton tunes are minor tunes, same for east european tunes (if they are nto oriental). Many old dutch, flemish, french and english tunes (like hte ones in the playford dance master) combine minor and major scales within one tune.
