At one stage Jon was singing and accompanying himself on Maccann duet, Sam Sweeny and Robert Harbron on EC and even Ethel and Eric two wax cylinder Ediphone players with trumpets adding music and atmosphere. Most of his songs were from the latest CD- From the Floodplain. Well recommended. And Martin Simpson and Andy Cutting in the Boardwalk Allstars plus Fay Hield and Maggie Boyle as support! Mr Boden and the Remnant Kings played Farnham Maltings last night, and I gather that it was a fine evening.
