m3838 Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Hi. I finally got around to make my "arrangement" for Autemn Dream, by Archibald Joice, famous English composer of 19 century. The waltz is a hit in Russia, to the point it is widely believed to be Russian military waltz. is the accordion rendition. Simple, solo, close to what we can adapt. Unless you are more inspired by .Here are the pages: Page 1 Page 2 Page 3 Give me your critique, try it. Red color notes are replacements. Don't play black there. Blue are suggested. Try it. It's in 3 and 4 flats, so beware. To make it easer I simply put flat signs in front of every flatted note. Shouldn't be a big deal on 48 button EC, but for me, with my Jackie, it will be less intuitive that I'd like to. I generally omitted bass lines, but moved chords an octave up where I felt should sound good. Haven't tried it yet myself, only hummed.
Randy Stein Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Very nice. I have been working on an arrangement with my guitarist also. rss
m3838 Posted April 25, 2010 Author Posted April 25, 2010 Darn it! It's Autumn Dream, not Autemn Dream. No wonder I was reading it and feeling like it's somebody else's writing. Sorry about the typo.
