Okay...well being off work for 2 days with a cough I got rather bored and wrote a tune

As you got intoit it became a bit of a 9/8 slip jig. It could also be The Wheezy Chest Jig or The Lemslip Jig

Again it's something you don't need to worry about, you were as you say 'going with the flow'. Just for the record though a jig is in 6/8 and is counted in twos - didely didely, a slip jig is in 9/8 and counted in threes - didely didely didely. You don't need to record it if you don't feel like it but do at least have a go at the melnet tune of the month Battle of the Somme to get the 'feel' of it.
