michael sam wild Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 I just got a CD from CD Baby by Sarah Blair Traditional Irish Fiddle , Flower of the Red Mill (Newgrange records 2007) It's very nice and has quite a few tracks where she is playing with Paul Groff , stalwart of conc net, on Anglo!
Alan Day Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Paul is a superb Anglo player, I wanted to include him in the Anglo International collection, but sadly could not use the track I had of his playing. Noel Hill even recommended his playing to me. I have not heard these recordings, but they will be worth getting. Al

Al Hi Al and Michael, Couldn't agree more with you all that Paul is a fine player and that he and Sara make some good music. Here is a link to my cnet topic back in 2008 when I first heard their recording. http://www.concertina.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=7484 Not everyone expressed the same enthusiasm as I did but it hasn't changed my opinion that it is an example of Paul's fine playing. michael sam wild Posted March 8, 2010 Author Posted March 8, 2010 Thanks Greg, I should have looked but it may let some others get to know abut the CD I only found it by trawling CDBaby who I'd never come across until I looked for a CD by guitarist Iris Nevins. I am only just beginning to get familiar with US producers and distributors as the web gets better. Any other good trad type companies or distributors?
