Thanks for the links, I enjoyed a lot. Mary Humphreys and Anahata play tunes with pretty good arrangements, they are introducing me to english music by doing so!. And that player that plays that reel called Daveys is seriously good as well!

Hi Fernando

He's had a few videos of some nice playing in the past, but unfortunately his previous uploads to YouTube have been "deleted by user". I vaguely remember someone saying he's really from Australia, but don't remember 100%.

Thanks

I was surprised to see that you picked up on my Housewives' Choice video Leo since only one sixth of the band is a concertina player , and you can only just about hear the tina in question over the plumbing section, melodeon and percussion !! I had wondered why the numbers of views had suddenly increased exponentially. I'm intrigued to know how the dickens you found it out there as it was only put up six days ago - or is it just a matter of trawling recent videos with a concertina tag ? :)

Hi Irene

That's one way. Sometimes,it's a PM, or Email. Another would be to see it show up on the related videos on the right, like these:

She's like the swallow :)

Faithful Emma at Music Institute Club April 2009 :)

If it's a name I recognize as a concertina.net member, there is a smiley next to it for reference, (not a critique of the playing). If you check the statistics under the video, it tells where the counts come from. Especially when it's new.

Very good selection and I find it useful too. Thank you for making the effort.

Ian

Hi Ian

The real effort is from the uploaders on YouTube. I just found them. What's really cool, is the gazillion different settings and uses where a concertina has been played. I haven't quite found every country, yet, but one can only hope.

Thanks

Hi Leo --- thanks for that. So not a mystery really. Sounds as though you put in a lot of hard work !! I've had a look at several of the other links (I really should have been getting on with other things - but hey!!!) - thanks :)

From a great guitar player, but not concertina.

Thanks
