Jim Van Donsel
BTW, it looks like The Button Box has snagged Mícheál ÓRaghallaigh, among others, for their 2010 Workshop in Massachusetts in April.
Ptarmigan
Thanks to friend Peter, for this very tasty MP3 clip from their concert, last time out, in Ennis. Ennis MP3 This, especially for all my fellow Polka fans! Cheers Dick
Robin Harrison
My interest in the anglo concertina is primarily the accompanied style (formerly English style). However when I saw Micheal O'Raghallaigh perform at a ButtonBox workshop a couple of years ago I was blown away by firstly his lovely lyrical playing but mainly by the amount of accompamiment he was able to achieve. I thought it was a tour de force and I couldn't quite believe what I was hearing. If your taste like mine, is for a fuller sound on the anglo, this player will delight you.
