Alan Day
This is a very old discussion point but as I am unclear I thought I would start this discussion again. When air is pushed or pulled through a reed what does the reed do? Does it lift to vibrate or lower ? I have found reeds jammed deep down into plate jammed on the wood below it. So if it lifts what is it doing down there? I would be grateful if somebody who has studied reeds and their reaction to air pressure and forced air pressure to let me know what goes on. Many thanks Al
