Leo Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Are you sure? http://www.addictedtorubberstamps.com/Prod...ail.ListIndex=3 Thanks Leo
Irene S. Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 (edited) Hmm ... and there was I thinking that bellows technique (and learning to use both hands) were the major problems I was facing learning to play the Maccann. It seems now that I have to concern myself either with going bald, or with growing long hair and scragging it back (I see even LDT has hers tied back) .... not fair! (and I don't think I'm coming out to play anymore in that case) Edited November 5, 2009 by Irene S
chris Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Hi there's always room for inovators Irene chris(sporting the balding +ponytail look )
JimLucas Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Well I keep trying to listen to them play.. but every time I try to get close to them with a musical instrument, they run away. So, I think it is a reasonable assumption on my part that they are not good musicians. When you approach with an instrument, they run away? Sounds to me like they're just harsh critics.
Lawrence Reeves Posted November 5, 2009 Author Posted November 5, 2009 Maybe there is a need for a harsh critic tutorial next. We should look on Youtube.

I always maintain a short hair cut and impeccable personal grooming, therefore, I must be a great player . Anyone who doesn't think so obviously has long hair and is therefore incapable of understanding how great my playing really is . I really need to find some YouTube videos to prop up my point -- Bill

So quite likely their musical tastes do differ from yours. I think you would do well to accept that difference without rancor -- I'm sure they'll do the same -- and pay a visit to a barber. I might recommend Sweeney Todd. His clientele is known for their good taste.
Irene S. Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 This whole thread: zzzzzzzzzzzzz Awww ... don't be like that David! I was getting a giggle out of this just when I needed one . And hey, I just noticed that I've now become a chatty concertinist ... well at least it got half of that right!

Anyone who doesn't think so obviously has long hair and is therefore incapable of understanding how great my playing really is Hey - I have short hair, and reasonable grooming. There may be hope for me yet. But on the other hand one of the best tina players I know has shoulder length grey hippy hair ... sigh .... I'm still confused. Are you sure it's the hair that maketh the tina player?
