Daniel Hersh Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 It's here, described as a possible Lachenal. Is that correct? It's very pretty, whatever it is: Daniel
malcolm clapp Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 (edited) It's here, described as a possible Lachenal. Is that correct? It's very pretty, whatever it is: Daniel Not resembling any Lachenal I've ever seen. With that style of decorative end inlay, George Case springs to mind....but none that I've seen have an oval shape cartouche, so not totally convinced. Interesting.... Stephen Chambers Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I've a fancier version of the same model (that has Macassar ebony woodwork, double-pans, gilt C-keys and gold-tooled leather "papers"), which is labelled Joseph Scates, 27, College Green, Dublin.
