Dave Weinstein Posted April 20, 2004 Posted April 20, 2004 The end of the Kesh Jig is |gfg aga| bgg g3:| What ornamentation do people suggest for that final measure (the three g's in a row)? Regards, --Dave
JimLucas Posted April 20, 2004 Posted April 20, 2004 The end of the Kesh Jig is |gfg aga| bgg g3:| I guess there are many different versions of the tune. E.g., the version in the Tune-O-Tron ends with three g's, but differs elsewhere from yours. I learned the ending many years ago on the whistle as ...|gfg aga| bgf g2:| (with the g2 leaving room for the next pickup note). So that would be one way to solve your problem. I was going to suggest some other possiblities, but don't you have a special layout? So ornamentation I might suggest for a standard C/G probably wouldn't work for you. I think I'd better try to remember what your layout is before continuing.
