  1. Allo to all! Hope everyone had a nice holiday season. I am new to the concertina, I have recently commissioned a craftsman to build me a 30b C/G Wheatstone layout. I would like to know if there are any note arrangements/accidentals that would be helpful in playing Quebecois fiddle tunes, was Wheatstone the right choice or should I have gone with a Jeffries layout in a circular Wheatstone reed pan. .
  2. Hot off the press is a collection of 381 québécois tunes originally noted down by Isidore Soucy (1899 - 1962) and here transcribed by Jean Duval in PDF format. There is also an alphabetical list of the tunes which link to a page with information about the tune and more importantly in most cases a link to a video of the tune being played. Enjoy!
