  1. I bought this concertina in December, 2024 for my wife from Bob Tedrow. Due to physical limitations, she is unable to play this fine instrument. This is a Lachenal 48-key English concertina with metal buttons, rosewood ends and 5-fold bellows. The reeds are steel in brass frames. The serial number is 48812 and my guess is that it was built circa 1910. The concertina has been restored sometime in the recent past (no details available to me) and the notes all speak and are in tune. The D#'' (right site) reeds have been removed to provide an air button. Hard case included.
