After a grueling day of cleaning up & stabilizing ebony scroll work on the baritone, I knew I had to get something else running around in my brain before bedtime and this tune has always been a joyful favorite. Written 1979 during my "Golden Age of home Brewing" celebrating my Scottish brown ale. Missed a few notes while playing due to geriatric "lazy finger" that doesn't move as fast as it did when the tune was composed 45 years ago. One of my 6/8 bagpipe marches from 2018. My wife's gait (down "The Peat Road" on South Harris, Scottish Hebrides) says it all! The concertina is a 1921 Lachenal Amboyna Edeophone purchased from the collection of our late friend, concertinist David Cornell.
