The Chapel Bell. . An Irish Jig composed by the late Frank McCollam from Ballycastle, Co. Antrim. Frank, who also had a passion for gardening, Bees, restoring old clocks, and âgoing to the Mossâ, was a member of the local Ballinlea Pipe Band, but in later years, put the pipes aside to concentrate on the Fiddle. He also played the Accordion, but itâs his Fiddle playing that most folk remember him for, around here, and musicians used to come from all over the place to âhae a tune wiâ Frankâ. The Bell in the photograph is a medieval religious Bell from the C13th, which was recovered from Murlough Bay, just South of Ballycastle.
