  1. The nearest sounds to a concertina that I can get on my PC are listed in Sibelius as programs 20 to 23. 20 reed organ, 21 accordion, 22 harmonica and 23 tango accordion. There's not a great deal of difference between them and they're not a million miles away from a concertina sound. The Idea of a midi concertina is fascinating. Would it work for an anglo? I had toyed with the idea of re building a cheap keyboard into a kind of electric concertina trainer.
  2. Greg, Thanks again. That's a very useful looking site. I think I'll buy a couple of reeds from there and see how I get on. Cheers.
  3. Thanks for that Greg. I watched Toms concertina auction with interest but it went beyond my limit. It was that sale that gave me the idea of changing reeds. I've looked inside and I am impressed with how easy it is to take reeds out and put them back in. Is it possible to buy a couple of reeds from somewhere? If I could do that it would be possible to change back to normal if I wish to sell.
  4. It's 20 key G/G Anglo. Could it be converted to G/D? or something else>
  5. I recently got a Lachenal Anglo C G and for the stuff I want to play I need a C# and a G# above that. This will allow me to play most of the traditional tunes I know. Is there a standard fix for this?
