  1. I have a 30 button C/G Edgley with Wheatstone fingering for sale. I bought it directly from Frank in 2011. It is in "like new" condition. This instrument is constructed of African Bubinga, with pau ferro and bloodwood trim and special handles. Professional Model with deep seven fold bellows and angled reedpans. Frank described it as being a distinctive instrument. It comes with a hard case. I paid $3100.00 US dollars for it in 2011 and am posting it for $2500.00 US dollars plus shipping and handling. If you have any questions or would like to see the instrument via Video Call (Skype or FaceTime) feel free to contact me. My direct cell phone number is (920)905-9642. My name is Kevin.

I am considering lower offers, that I have turned down previously. Here is the description and picture from Frank's blog: 4/ "Special" wooden-ended "Tree of Life" model. 6. This instrument is still for sale... no longer on Ebay. Contact me with any inquiries. Thank you.
  7. I certainly will let you know if it still is for sale. Thank you for your interest. Take care.
  8. I am selling a wooden ended "tree of life" Edgley C/G with wheatstone fingering #336. It is a professional model which Frank has described on his blog as having a very distictive tone. (2010) I have listed it on Ebay for an easier transaction, as I have had difficulties selling it on this site in the past. I got it new for $3100.00 US dollars, and am starting bids at $2700.00. I was not very willing to let it go in the past for less than I paid, but really need to sell it. If you have any inquiries you can call me directly. My name is Kevin. 9. This is a wooden ended "tree of life" Edgley C/G with wheatstone fingering. It is a professional model which Frank has described as having a very distictive tone. The instrurment has been played for less than 10 hours. I have tried to sell this instrument before unsuccessfully. (once when I was in Romania, and a few times since) The instrument has been stored at my parents house the entire time. If you look at my post history you will see the instrument has been vouched for. Frank Edgley has said himself he will vouch for it. I have been trying to get what I paid for it. ($3100.00 US dollars.) This is not your ordinary sounding Edgley. I know I have a gem of an instrument and I have been holding out for the full price, but now I am really in need as I have my first child, and would take a little loss if need be. I would appreciate full price, but am taking offers. I am happy to answer any questions you have about the instrument. You can call me directly if you wish: (Pacific time zone) Home (541)899-5567 Cell (920)905-9642 This is the description off of Frank Edgley's blog: 4/ "Special" wooden-ended "Tree of Life" model. 10. This is a wooden ended "tree of life" Edgley C/G with wheatstone fingering. It is a professional model which Frank has described as having a very distictive tone. The instrurment has been played for less than 10 hours. I never got the chance to learn it. I got it when I had the money thinking I'd learn it, but never did make it happen. Now I have my first baby on the way and chances are even slimmer of me learning a new instrument, and I really need the money. I have tried to sell this instrument before. (once when I was in Romania, and a few times since) If you look at my post history you will see the instrument has been vouched for. Frank Edgley has said himself he will vouch for it. I have been trying to get what I paid for it. ($3100.00 US dollars.) This is not your ordinary sounding Edgley. I know I have a gem of an instrument and I have been holding out for the full price, but now I am really in need as I have my first child being born in March, and would take a little loss if need be. I would appreciate full price, but am taking offers. The instrument is actually at my parents house in Wisconsin, and I am living in Oregon now. I am happy to answer any questions you have about the instrument. You can call me directly if you wish: (Pacific time zone) Home (541)846-8954 Cell (920)905-9642 This is the description off of Frank Edgley's blog: 4/ "Special" wooden-ended "Tree of Life" model. 11. Sorry I made a mistake it is a C/G anglo with Wheatstone fingering.
  12. I have an edgley wooden ended D/G professional model barely played. It came off the bench in 2010. I bought it in 2011 and have never had the chance to learn how to play it well. I can play it for you over skype video call or phone. I will ship anywhere if you pay shipping. Here is the description off of Frank's blog. 4/ "Special" wooden-ended "Tree of Life" model. This instrument is constructed of African Bubinga, with pau ferro and bloodwood trim and special handles. Professional Model with deep seven fold bellows and angled reedpans. This will be a very distinctive instrument. (see May 3, 2010 for design appearance) My phone number is (920)905-9642. My name is Kevin. I am happy to answer any questions.
  13. How do you upload photos and attach them to your post on these forums. I notice some people attach many full size, full color photos, and I just can't figure out how. It says my file is too big. Can anyone help?
  14. Hi there. I have a Edgely Concertina I have never gotten a chance to learn how to play. It is as good as new. I have only played it about 10 hours maximum. If you have skype capability I can play it for you and show you over the computer. I am at my parents house, where the instrument is, in Wisconsin for another 5 days or so. I bought it when I had the money hoping to get to learn back in 2011, then went and traveled the world for a year... Now I am in debt. I posted it a while back (my mom was going to sell it for me) when I was in a bind over in Romania, but never sold it. I can take pics and send it, or just show you over skype video call. I really need the money. I ended up borrowing money from my retired parents to get home from Europe, and I would really like to pay them back, so I am willing to let this go for less than I paid, though it is in absolutely perfect condition. I paid a little over 3000 US dollars for it at the time of purchase. I am willing to let it go now for less than I paid. Frank said he will answer any questions you have... I too will. He will vouch for me. He has the sales records, and can give you more info. Here is the description from his blog, before I bought it: This is the exact description on Frank's blog: 4/ "Special" wooden-ended "Tree of Life" model. This instrument is constructed of African Bubinga, with pau ferro and bloodwood trim and special handles. Professional Model with deep seven fold bellows and angled reedpans. This will be a very distinctive instrument. (see May 3, 2010 for design appearance) SOLD You can see the actual pic on his blog... but I can send you live photos. My phone number in the USA is (920)905-9642... if you want to talk about it give a call, or if you want to set up a skype call I can do it pretty much any time. I really need to sell this so I am willing to negotiate. For someone who has patience this could be a wise investment that makes you some money. My name is Kevin Welnetz if you talk to Frank... the number on the concertina is 336, You should be able to tell him my name and the number on the concertina for him to pull up his records. Please if you know anyone who would buy this help me out. It comes with a hard water proof case, and I will ship where ever it needs to go. Thank you kindly.
  15. I am not offended. I played with the concertina a bit before leaving, but not enough to know a song or a scale, and as my travels have been almost one year long spanning India, Nepal, Armenia, Georgia, Turkey, Greece, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Bulgaria, and now Romania, keeping my pack light was of importance. Since I play flute... I decided it was more travel worthy and useful than lugging a heavy concertina with me around the world.
  16. Hi there. My name is Kevin Welnetz. I am forced to sell my semi - recently acquired Edgley anglo concertina. I have only played it for about 10 hours before leaving the country. I planned to learn when upon my return. It is currently in Wisconsin in the USA, and I am in Romania. My mother is at my home in Wisconsin with skype capability with video so you can see the concertina before buying it and talk to her. She will be the one to ship it. (so it will be shipped from Wisconsin, USA) I paid just over 3000 US dollars for the instrument in 2011. I bought it directly from Frank Edgley. He will vouch for me and answer any questions you may have. Pictures of the exact concertina are on Frank's blog site, also my profile picture is me playing it. I can send more pics and info if you contact me. My email is handsofbliss@gmail.com or just respond on the forum. I am willing to negotiate, though I would really like to get the full value. It comes with a hard plastic case, and is in the exact condition I got it when Frank shipped it. My mother can take close up photos, and send to your email if you need to see. I will give you her phone number, or skype name, and she is so happy to help. I do not want to borrow money from her, and I am in a situation, where I am overseas with no job except to play music on the street, and am in need of some funds. Please be respectful in making me an offer. It was a very huge investment for me. I am a 28 year old traveller and 3000 dollars is a lot. I can take a bit of a loss, but please only inquire with reasonable offers. Thank you all.
  17. I posted the wooden ended edgley c/g for sale earlier today, and I was informed just now that my post looks like a well known scam, but he checked with Frank and can vouch for me. I am really in a bind. My wife and I have been travelling for many months and the and after being robbed here in Romania where we are currently staying with a friend who is helping us out. There are so many ways I can prove this is not a scam... Please if you are interested for one contact Frank Edgley and I am sure this will all check out, and for two contact me, and I will put you in touch with my mother who I feel you would really put you at ease.... I can also probably find skype and video cam somewhere in this city, and talk my mom through a live video call on skype if you don't trust it, you can see her go to my room and get the instrument and see her hold it up on the video. Please if you are interested look into it further this is no scam, just a desperate man in a difficult position.
  18. Hello concertina lovers. I am a young (28 year old) newly wed on my honeymoon with my wife and am new to the world of concertinas. I saw my first performance with a concertina a few years back and fell in love forever. I thought I would try to learn on what I was told by a few to be one of the best. An Edgely... It was a huge investment (a little more than 3000 US dollars at the time of purchase, which is a lot of money for me) I got a wooden ended c/g concertina beautifully constructed by a true master. Frank stands behind his work, and I messaged him recently to see if he could help me resell it. He said he would be happy to answer any questions you may have. I am currently overseas with my wife in financial trouble. (we were robbed by a taxi driver in Romania) We are in need of money, and even though I absolutely don't want to sell it, I have to. The concertina is safe and sound at my mother's house in Wisconsin, USA. She would be happy to ship it anywhere if you are willing to pay shipping. I am hoping to get the whole value as it is a perfect instrument in perfect condition. It has only been played for about 10 hours or less. I have never gotten a chance to learn a scale or anything... I left the country and planned to learn when I got back, but now I am forced to sell it. My mother is a retired woman with a lot of time on her hands, and can ship it asap if you want it. I am asking 3000 US dollars, which is slightly less than I paid. It comes with a nice hard case. I will attach the original picture and description from Frank's blog as well as his contact info. You can contact Frank and myself to get information. Frank can vouch for me, and the quality of the instrument. My mother can take more pictures and send them in an email... I will have to talk her through it, but it is possible. This is the exact description on Frank's blog: 4/ "Special" wooden-ended "Tree of Life" model. This instrument is constructed of African Bubinga, with pau ferro and bloodwood trim and special handles. Professional Model with deep seven fold bellows and angled reedpans. This will be a very distinctive instrument. (see May 3, 2010 for design appearance) SOLD I tried to attach a picture to this post, but for some reason did not have success. There are images, as I mention below, on Frank's blog site. Just click on 2011 and scroll down toward the bottom, and there are pictures above the description of the instruments he had on his bench at the time... If you have any questions or are interested you can contact myself via email at: handsofbliss@gmail.com Or contact Frank Edgley (the maker) at: fedgley@cogeco.ca also see his website: http://www.concertinas.ca/ and pictures of his work and the concertina I possess on his blog: http://edgleyconcertinas.blogspot.ro/ (the pictures are toward the bottom of the page in 2011, but also the one that is pictured on the blog homepage is the exact materials and look as the one I have for sale) I am in Romania right now so it is .ro, but maybe just .com in other countries I would really like to get the full value as I am in dire need of the funds to get my wife and I back to work. If you or anyone you know is interested please contact me, and I can get you in touch with my mother and figure out payment and shipping details. Thank you, Sincerely, Kevin Welnetz
  19. I am a beginner looking for a nice English concertina (a tenor/treble 48 button to be specific). I have money to invest in a nice instrument, and cannot find one anywhere. If anyone knows of some leads or better yet has a great instrument they would love to sell, let me know. i have been looking all over. I have no problem finding anglos or duets even, but the right english has posed a challenge. Thank you much.
