Aha! Thanks. I figured it couldn't be a 'D/G' model or whatnot because you can't actually get the full D scale out of it! So that is just a G-chord variant. I'd been trying to find a chart/listing for the old German style tunings online but haven't managed it. Thanks! It seems there are so many possibilities... all the best, Margaret

Hello all, Totally new to this forum so pls be kind. Some years ago in my naivety I bought a Hohner 20b anglo (C/G) and have never managed to really do much with it. Now that I'm trying to find out more about it etc., I've discovered that it doesn't seem to have 'normal' anglo tuning -- on the left side, the near-row leftmost button is not (A -1/B-1); the left side looks like this: (Pull/Push) Far Row: (G -1/C -1) (B -1/G -1) (D/C) (F/E) (A/G) Near Row: (D -1/G -1) (F#/D) (A/G) (C 1/B) (E 1/D 1) Has anyone seen this before? I bought it from a music shop but they didn't say anything about it at the time (about 10 years ago now) and probably didn't know much. Is this an error, a 'normal' alternate, or some sort of aftermarket change that went unrecorded? Also, that same button (the D -1/G -1) seems a bit angled in and sometimes sticks a bit -- if I unscrewed the end block would I be able to do some easy minor fix or is this a 'take it to someone' sort of deal? More info: This concertina is primarily red, with dyed-red wooden hexagonal ends, red vinyl covered solid bellows sections with silver-coloured slightly frilly (as it were) metal corner braces/protectors, green-edge-taped beige-background floral bellows, and red leather hand straps. Says 'HOHNER' in big letters and 'MADE IN ITALY' in smaller letters. Bought in Ashland, Oregon. Any information welcome! Thanks, Margaret
