its not really a talent...its quantity over quality..the acid test will be if anyone decides to play it. Thanks. And that is just the default setting..haven't explored those settings yet.

I made the mistake of thinking the concertina was a small version of a Melodeon (Diatonic accordion). Have you given one of those a try? I flit between that on anglo concertina...stops me getting too fustrated with one instrument. *ducks and hides for mentioning melodeons on a concertina forum*

Sounds like it aught to be a line from a song. lol!

Well I had a go at it...but I'm really struggling with the last bit and seemed to make more mistakes in front of the camera and didn't have time for more than a handfull of attempts. (for anyone watching recent series of lark rise it was in episode 3..thanks to steve for transcribing it for me....even with a cold)

Gardener's Delight - New Tune By Chris Drinkwater
LDT replied to Chris Drinkwater's topic in Tunes /Songs
My tune, my choice, of course. Well, to be honest, folks, I prefer the tune the way I originally wrote it - that's why I wrote it that way. I would be curious too? Alan D, where are you? I went to see John Kirkpatrick performing in London last saturday evening and I gave him a copy of the tune to see what he could make of it. He said he'd let me know next time I see him, which could be next year! Unfortunately, I don't think he's a C.net poster. I am sure he'd make a jolly good job of it and really bring it to life. Chris Well I've sent Chris my 'Les Dawson-esque' Version. lol! Might take a little more practice before I'll post it here. -

Just wanted to add my voice to the chorus...its a nice tune. Had a go at it on Melodeon . I am gonna try properly on concertina later. -

I thought it was awesome! Quit beating up on yourself! How many people can make music on a concertina eh! Farion Bravisimo! It takes a lot of guts to put that out there. You're ahead of the class! Over the Rainbow is a classic and you're well on the way to a top-notch performance. Keep playing it. The other two I don't know at all - but you sounded good to me. Thank you.

I find I can't 'design' without some 'background' music....although not techno in my case.
