[WTB decent Anglo]

Hi Looking for a decent hybrid or lachenal/Jones. Preferrable 30 button C/G but I'd entertain D's A's or 26 buttons. I am on a low budget of $1400. I have been sans concertina since June and I am hurtin bad i just ask for a decent player. Looks dont bother me.

I still have a very nice Jones26 in C/G for sale.

It is not the fastest 'box' in the world..but has broad steel reeds and a very nice sound.

Plays very well...Everything works on it...it is in very good shape..and was made around late 1800's...

Mechanically all aspects of the instrument are working.

The bellows is fine as well.

Rosewood ends..broad steel reeds by Jones.

It is not a super fast instrument but sounds very nice and is a pleasure to play.

 

I want to sell, as I would like to order another newer instrument.

[Riveted Action]

I have been wondering about the difference between a rivited action and non riveted action function in an anglo concertina.

I have recently purchased a Jones 26 that I have been told does not have a riveted action. What does this mean?

I also have an Edgley c/g that I have been playing for some time that I really like.

The Jones has broad steel reeds, so it says...again I am not too sure what that means...

in addition to the Tedrow I also have an old Jones 26k C/G with brass reeds that has been totally reconditiioned by Greg Jowaisas. Asking for $1000.00 Not as loud as the Tedrow but very sweet. Also has a blocked Button Box hard case. Whichever goes first I'll keep the other.
