I'm an anglo player, since the 1970s. I like a lot of different types of music and tend to try them all using the concertina, for better or worse... I like Swedish fiddle music, Puerto Rican tunes and rhythms, playing for dances, Italian tunes, Quebecois music, etc. etc. I hope that playing widely for many years eventually achieves depth also.
I'll try to play in any key; tend to play across rows rather than along; play fast dance tunes and lush harmony-filled chord-y ones; have been enjoying learning to support and enhance someone else's lead. Mostly instrumental music.
I've played the same C-G metal ended Lachenal since the '70s, recently bought a beautiful new Carroll - love them both.
