  1. Hi

I don't know how up-market beyond hybrid you might like to go, but I am on the verge of selling my 45 key ex Fred Kilroy G/D Jeffries, which I bought years back from Chris Timson of this parish.  I'm selling due to cancer and old age, not because I really want to, but this + some other instruments are not getting played these days.  I have the correspondence from Chris, which explains that this was one of the last Jeffries that Fred sold, as he really liked it.  It's in all round good condition, fine silvered ends and gold marked straps and bellows.  I used to accompany my wife's singing with it, but she also doesn't sing out these days.

If interested, I guess it would be close to £5000 to purchase.  I live in North Devon and you would be welcome to come and try before you buy, of course.  My curremt treatment involves me attending a hospital 2 hours distant each weekday during most of April and May, but my wife will be home so if interested, I'd be happy to chat.

    Bests

Thanks again, I have gone for the Wheatstone as it was a good price (1920s, £3000) and very much suits my needs. I do love a good Jeffries but harder for me to sing over.

im sure you’ll have no trouble finding a happy home for it. Good luck and best wishes.

Thanks Tony - good of you to reach out. I’m going to try a Wheatstone which has a layout more familiar to me, but if it doesn’t work out I might give you a shout, but £5k is probably a stretch for me.
