I have lived my entire life in Maryland.  First learned to play a few tunes from my Dad on a B/C accordion when I was about 8 or 9 years old.. and then we both fell away from the music.  20+ years later, after previously regretting not sticking with the box, I realized I was single, had a good job, lots of free time and no reason not to pick it back up.  Got a B/C accordion (or 3) and started playing.  After a year or two, hit on C-net and a seed was planted.  Since, I have gotten married, have had 4 kids, and lost most of my free time :).
