Finished !restoring my favourite concertina , the hours I’ve put in is unbelievable its perfectly tuned to cg using lead method , strangely enough it beats all my normal concertina with the loudest warmest sound .the no 303.. linota 3 riveted action row i had thats 100 years old this year, there was 2-3 notes that came out super unbelievabley loud but stil 3 row is not the ideal concertina vor our music +the post war linota i hand no50..( thats numbers got lost on the leage) had more like a car horn sound also special but not as the 3.. number

Try mixing baking soda , soap . a toothbrush, take the reed unit out 😉 be careful whith the toothbrush ! Onley donw (strokes) while cleaning, if cleaned tap in clean water and ues a hair dryer to blow the reed , im sure this is not a good method , one concertina was out of tune and notes not playing and now its like new ,eaven seeing how brown the baking soda mixture was after cleaning

Hi , 😂 had to google what baffles is , on all the concertinas the red is all i know aboute , I think it complements the black of the concertina , one concertina i have the inside is painted red , but i can clearly see it was not (as is) from wheatstone, some people get creative so ive seen them change the red theam to blue or so just so there concertina looks special , i had a few verry origanal from the factory, specially 3 rows that look unplayed ( il try to post a photo) so the baffles all are not the same kind of baffles -
