Hi,
I'm new to the forum and wondered if anyone would be able to shed some light on a concertina I inherited from my Great Grandfather. I don't know much about the instrument so any information would be greatly appreciated!
I'd like to confirm the manufacturer, possible and find out its potential value. The concertina belonged to my great grandfather and has had a few repairs done to the instrument in past years. It's in full working order with a few signs of cosmetic wear. I've listed more info and pictures below:
30 Key Anglo Chromatic Concertina
Brand: H Crabb & Son(?) Stamp does have the word 'repairs' marked on it (Lachenal listed on box/case but possibly an aftermarket case)
Serial Number: 118914
Instrument Condition: In full working condition with some small cosmetic wear to the instrument. repair carried out on the keys and bellows. Some of the internal key pallets have been repaired/replaced in the past (see images for ref)
Any info would be greatly appreciated - Thank you so much for taking the time to look through the post!
Kind regards,
Jack
