  3. Comments have been posted on this site previously that the weather at High Bradfield can be unpredictable. That is absolute "tosh".Whats unpredictable about last nights weather? The weather station at the top of our fields recorded a wind speed of 93 mph. This appears to be newsworthy as the BBC have been up here filming today.
  4. The Neovox Company of Birmingham UK produced in the 1970's at least two casettes of Alexander Prince 78's.I only have both cassette somewhere.I understood somebody in London was in the process of cleaning up and producing a CD of all known AP 78's.Does anybody know what stage has been reached in that project?

  8. I attended the first of these festivals some years ago and would thoroughly recommend it.Aberdeen is a lovely city and as usual Ian Russell has organised a great list of guests. All the venues are within walking distance and there is plenty of accommodation. On my visit I stayed in the Halls of Residence where a number of the guests stayed and I very much enjoyed the company of Simon Thoumire and Pip Murphy. The informal sessions that were organised were also very good and I met a number of fine local musicians.I hope to attend this year and will fly up from Manchester. However if I could get three or four others interested I might be prepared to drive.Email me if you are thinking of attending.
