I haven't yet heard any songs about it, but I notice that in comic strips BP is getting hit from both the left and the right (as judged by various strips' usual political slants). Anything on the pop charts? That's the music of today's folk, after all. What are the Dixie Chicks singing about these days? They've been known to use a concertina. It's very fertile ground for all kinds of music and parodies numbering in the hundreds. Movies and songs have been rewritten, computer games have been hacked, Some good, some not so good. Hi Tony OOPS! abc notation is fairly easy to use. My bad assumption, I keep forgetting not everyone is familiar with it. Copy everything from x:1 ...to.. c15/2|| and paste it into here: http://www.concertina.net/tunes_convert.html , then click submit, and it will give you a midi, pdf, and a picture of the notes to play. Hi Dirge Yeah, there are lots of them. I might have missed it. Not hard to do since the internet is such a big place with lots of crooks and nannies to hide under (spoonerism). There is an easy way to check though. If you click on the views number with the down arrow, a graph will show up under the video. If you see concertina.net listed with a date, then I caught it. Hi Jdms I should have known it was Ray Bradbury. At one time I really did. His writing is timeless. That's probably where I thought of the mating call, and forgot where to attribute the idea. Supposedly, it's also the idea for Godzilla movies and at least one other atomic dinosaur from Japan. Gotta love those early '50s atomic created science fiction movies.
