I'm a book editor in my mid-50s who has been an amateur musician all my life. In public I have mainly played bass guitar, since I was 15, having been a member of several local acts in Central Indiana over the years. I also play uke/tenor gtuitar in acoustic sessions informally with friends and acquaintances. I got into concertinas in 2006 but ended up frustrated and gave it up for a decade and a half. in 2022 I've rediscovered this amazing little instrument. I have a cheap 20b Italian Anglo and a Troubadour on order from Concertina Connection. I look forward to sticking with it this time and, after a lot of practice, adding concertina to my own private musical explorations.
