This beauty has found a new home. Additional cost have arousen at the customs (thans brexit!) and some repairs and adjustments had to be made. I would like to thank the seller Philip Ives to have split these unexpected costs with me. I am more than happy with this beauty. The good thing is that in the workshop in which I until now had my instruments repaired- they weren't up to the task and I found another repairer. Later an upgrade is sensible. An experienced player told me once: an instrument superior to your abilities will teach you a lot, if it is inferior you will learn nothing new. It took me some time to realise how right he was.

Hello, Joachim. My concertina is C/G and yes, I played Edelweiss. I'm flattered if you like my playing, I consider myself to be a beginner though. If you send me any musical ideas, it would be honour and pleasure for me to try and play it even more so if you learn something from my playing.

I'm sorry to hear that. You see, I gave it reviewed to my friends in musical instruments workshop: https://www.melodija.si/servis ... and they told me the reeds were "single" not "double". Now I know not what to think (not having skills to open it and see for myself) I only know that the sound of this concertina is well above anything I've heard until today.

I stumbled upon this instrument and I could not resist buying and trying playing it. It has obviously never been played, the leather straps are intact. Surprisingly all reeds are still well tuned. The sound is toy-ish, but interesting. The action of the buttons is better than modern day chinese 200€ (which was my entry level choice). I love it to have had this experience and I believe it would be a nice piece for a potential collector. Possibly a first instrument for a beginner.
