  1. If you provide me with your e-mail address I can send you more pictures. I have to admit I am not an expert on Concertinas, all I know is that the instrument was appraised and I was told it was made in the 1850's. The instrument belonged to my father in law and it has been stored since his death in 1980. All I can tell you is that it plays well and that I have more pictures if you want them sent to you.
  2. I have a 1850's Lachenal & Co 40 button, steel reed concertina for sale, serial number 4635. This instrument is in very good shape and still plays well. A family member bought this unit during World War II in London while he was stationed there. The unit comes with a wooden carrying case. It would make a great addition to any vintage musical instrument collection. Jan 21 2019 Sorry this item has been sold.
