About Me
I've lived in Sheffield since 1959 but come from a Manchester Irish family from Mayo. I play Mainly Irish music on Jeffries 26b C/G and 40b Crabb C/G anglo but I play all sorts of other music. I have a 46 b Lachenal Maccann duet too but that's a slower progress! and just got a Jeffries Duet that belonged to 'Big Nick' Robertshaw
I've been a singer, played melodeon for Morris and in a ceilidh band and for clog dancers. Also flute, whistle, mouth organ and fiddle , bouzouki and mandolin.
Now run a regular session at The Kelham Island Tavern in Sheffield with my mate Mike Lydiat (guitar)
