Hi, had this concertina for about 2 years, needed work on the treble side. All valves, pads, felt dampers and felt circles replaced. Plus on the base side several valves, pads and dampers. Still needs some work internally on the bellows, plus some reeds need re-tuning. Work in progress, but playable. When opening the case, I found the number 1099 stamped on the reed pan. Would appreciate any help with dating this concertina.

Just bought the recently advertised Lachenal duet from there Reed Lounge. Made an appointment and visited to try the duet. Friendly reception, no pressure to buy. Plenty of time to try it. Tuning excellent, new pads. Bought it, now need to learn to play. Previously played Anglo.
