  1. SOLDUp for sale is my deposit for a Suttner A1 Anglo C/G concertina. I put my order in early in 2018 and have a ship date of June 2019. I am selling it as I am no longer playing concertina. I have contacted Juergen and have informed him of this and he will honor my sale of the deposit and promised delivery date. On request I will provide a copy of the wire transfer I made to Juergen.
  2. Rudeboy, Thanks for counting, I hope they all add up?
  3. Ann, I'll be in Dublin for two days then heading to Tulla, (County Clare), to take classes with Mary MacNamara. I am very drawn to the East Clare sound. I have a very tight schedule and don't think I'd want to try and make arrangements to meet, to sell the Morse, but thank you for the donedeal.ie suggestion. The "new" concertina is a Lachenal which has been fully refurbished at McNeela Music. I'm also 10 months away from getting my Suttner A1.
  4. I am selling my 2108 Morse Céilí C/G Anglo with Pelican hard shell case. It is in perfect condition, as I bought it only three months ago for $2700, (with shipping). I'm asking, $2000, which saves you $700.00. I am selling it to fund a new concertina. I will ship for free anywhere in the CONUSA. There is one condition on the sale, I cannot ship it until October 5th, as I am going to Ireland on the 6th to get my new concertina and to attend concertina classes, I need to keep practicing until then ?. Please ask any questions.
  5. Thanks all! I too was quite surprised when I received my reply that the wait was only a year and that the price hadn't gone up since 2016. My hope and goal, is that when the Suttner arrives, I'll play well enough to do it justice.
  6. Today is a very special day for me, as I have sent my deposit to Jurgen Suttner for my A1 concertina. I have placed a calendar in my "man room" where I practice, to count off the days until it arrives, (Jurgen quoted 1 year). Until then I'll play my Morse Céilí. So excited!
  7. Michael, I'm so happy you got the Clover! I hope you're enjoying it as much as you hoped. I've watched the Noel documentary a few times and each time I am moved by this man, even more. After hours and hours of the voices in my head arguing their different perspectives, we have come to a group consensus, today I put a deposit on a Suttner A1. Jurgen quoted one year wait and that's much better than the other's I considered. Hopefully I'll have it for next years NHCWS. Talk to you soon Best, Patrick
  8. Is your Edgley still for sale?

  13. I know this post is "old" but it's been really encouraging. I just bought my fist concertina, (R. Morse Céilí C/G Jeffries layout) and signed up for the Noel Hill workshop here in Oregon. I feel like I've just stepped into an amazing adventure...
  14. I have a brand new, unused Concertina Connection Rochelle for sale. I bought it last week and have decided to buy a more "intermediate" concertina. I paid $425. I'll let it go for $375. w/free shipping to CONUSA. Save $50.00! Comes with case and concertina tutor book.
