Been involved with "bush music" (Australian folk) since the 1970s and performed in bands such as Pinchgut, Southern Cross and Paddys River Band, as well as musical director of the Heritage Ensemble since 1980. Regular presenter at the National Folk Festival and at other regional folk festivals.
Played anglo concertina with Backblocks recreating the sound of colonial country music with suitable instrumentation.
Established online tutor for anglo concertina using bush songs and tunes.
