  2. Y'mean, like Renaissance concertinas? Hey, someday they'll have Industrial Revolution Faires, where people will play concertinas in ye Rocke and Rolle bands, and will pretend to have obsolete jobs in the, for instance, manufacturing sector.
  3. Sean, in Savannah, Robert Robinson plays a litle anglo as does this other fellow, Jamie, whose last name I forget (Keenan?). You could find out from the Savannah Folk Music Society how to contact Jamie (Hank Weisman, Bob and Judy Williams, Joe Nelson, and others).
  4. Also, today I added another three part American tune in A, Ways of the World. Give it a try! -Eric Root
  5. I don't know if we are still supposed to use the old tune forum. Any way, I have just added the Appalachian fiddle tune Little Billy Wilson to the Tune-o-tron. It is a three-part breakdown in A, and most fiddlers in SW Virginia play a version pretty much like this one. -Eric Root
  6. Another very good reason not to add roughness to the tips of the buttons is that it would catch or drag on your finger tips, slowing down the crisp articulation of quick streams of notes, such as in celtic ornaments, among other things. -Eric Root
