The nature of the location has nothing to do with the songs, so far as I know. Re the Jack London Square chantey thing that someone else mentioned, I've heard rumors along those lines but no details. Daniel Hello, Sounds like your talking about Skip Henderson and the Starboard Watch who have been performing Sea Music at Quinns Lighthouse just south of Jack London Square for about 20 years every Thursday night from 8-10. Skip plays a mean concertina. Alan Lockheed plays bass and incredible concertina on occasion. Alan can squeeze out a march or ragtime piece and sound like a whole concertina orchestra all by himself.
