Will do Samantha, seeing fruitbat tonight for Morris practise and then usually we have a short band get together in the pub after, where Amelia plays the flute beautifully.

I'am new to playing the anglo concertina, just 3 months, I have found everyone I have meet and sought advice from so helpful and I'am really enjoying playing. I dance with new moon morris and on Sat 13th June will be dancing at the Boat festival at Stoke Bruerne, I will also be joining the new moon band in the evening, for a few tunes. If you like, boats, morris, folk and or concertina and your around I anticipate it will be a great day out.

Thank you Jim, I 've not long realised l've been getting into a bit of muddle, trying to learn the English and Irish styles of playing, sticking to the English method now, as l also dance in a Morris side and seem to be back on track and making some music.

3rd week now since I took delivery of my Rochelle and really enjoying the practise, havn't tried any self taught reels, your's does sound really good. I've just introduced B flat into some of the tunes, p23 of the Rochelle tutor, are you using the index finger for both the B flat and G that follows? it feels a bit strange and slow, so not sure that's correct.

I've just ordered a Rochelle and am also going to try the online Irish academy lessons, hope l can that good in 3 weeks, would be really pleased.
