  1. During the Academy Awards broadcast Jimmy Kimmel mentioned that Robert Downey Jr learned to play the violin left handed for his portrayal of Chaplin. Quite a feat, I'd imagine, and not at all concertina related.
  2. Gary, does this book match the Alan Day tutor for Anglo?
  3. Wikipedia has an interesting page about Ora (or Aura) Lee. I had to listen to your video again, Jody, to hear Elvis' Love Me Tender. Nice song, Ora Lee! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aura_Lea
  4. Is this a CD, with just music, or is there video as well?
  5. I never would have taken you for a fan of progressive, Jody. I prefer King Crimson, to be honest.
  6. To answer your question, they don't differ.

No one in the first photo seems to be playing, could this have been an advertisement?
  17. Mike Harding's bass is loud! Nice video, but your voice is hard to hear. Could you move the mic closer to your mouth?
  18. Your Wikipedia link lists that painting as between 1821 and 1823, which is close, I believe.
  19. Shopgoodwill.com mostly shows inexpensive, Chinese/Italian made 20 button instruments. Occasionally, an EC or good quality 'tina appears, so look regularly!
  20. If you can wait, check out Flying Duck concertinas. You could choose a 22, 24, or 26 button layout. They don't look vintage, but they work.
  21. Be glad you're not in Phoenix, AZ. Sat should be 118F. I hope I'm not here then.
