  1. Tim Collins will be making a rare North American trip to teach and perform at Cascadia Irish Music Week in Olympia, Washington, July 21-27, 2019. Tim is one of Ireland's finest concertina players and a member of the Kilfenora Ceili Band, also an excellent teacher.   4. Michelle Mulcahy will be teaching concertina this summer at Cascadia Irish Music Week, Aug. 10-16, 2014 on Whidbey Island, Washington. The entire Mulcahy Family will be there, Mick, Louise and Michelle; also Johnny Og Connolly, Randal Bays, John McEvoy, Sean Gavin, John Blake, Tom Lawrence, Laura Flanagan, Miray Campbell, Eileen Sullivan and more.   5. Co. Clare concertina player Florence Fahy is coming to teach this August at the Cascadia Irish Music Week, Aug. 11-17, 2013. The camp will also offer introductory level concertina classes taught by Tom Lawrence. (A few loaner instruments will be available for students. ) Also teaching at this new event will be Mary Bergin, tinwhistle; Sean Gavin, flute; James Kelly, fiddle; Antoin MacGabhann, fiddle; Randal Bays, fiddle; Johnny Og Connolly, accordion; Daithi Sproule, guitar; et. al. Location is the Camp Casey Conference Center on Washington state's Whidbey Island, a beautiful seaside setting for what promises to be a week of great music and learning.
