The Button Box
The Button Box is perhaps the "grand-daddy" of concertina and other squeezebox instruments in North America. They've been around a very long time, and their reputation is excellent. They also now manufacture and sell their very own line of highly regarded and affordable concertinas. Years ago I purchased my very first concertina (a Lachenal) from Rich, Doug and the guys, and they didn't steer me wrong, and service and support have always been excellent and affordable. Don't pass them up in your search for anything concertina or squeezebox related! Here is what they have to say about themselves: The Button Box specializes in new, used and vintage concertinas and accordions and stocks a wide selection of CDs, videos and books. They are also the makers of the well-respected R. Morse & Co concertinas and organizers of the annual Northeast Squeeze-In event held each September in Western Massachusetts.
Concertina Connection v.o.f.
Founded in 1993, the concertina connection started as a music publisher of concertina repertoire and restorer of high end vintage concertinas. They have restored some of the worlds most exclusive instruments over the years.
Owner of the Concertina Connection, Wim Wakker, is also the designer and owner of the successful Jackie, Jack and Rochelle entry level concertinas, as well as the new Clover anglo, a high end hybrid anglo.
The `Wakker` concertinas are exclusive hand made traditional concertinas (with ´real´ concertina reeds) made by Wim and Karen Wakker. The models include anglo, english, Hayden duet and Midi concertinas.

Homewood Musical Instrument Co. / Tedrow Concertinas
Bob Tedrow, of Homewood Musical Instruments in Alabama has been the longest-running and most generous Concertina.net advertiser. He has also steadily built a stellar reputation in the concertina world as a knowledgeable, fair, and honest dealer, repairer, and most recently a builder of quality and reasonably priced concertinas.
Kensington Concertinas
Dana Johnson developed Kensington Concertinas, as true concertina reeded instruments which will hold their own in comparison with the better vintage concertinas, without the highly inflated prices of recent years. Over the last ten years, he has continued this process, constantly focusing on producing the best sounding, best playing, lowest maintenance instrument he could. As a player and lover of Irish music, he decided to focus on an instrument that would be well suited to that music and to put his efforts into a well constructed instrument that had great playing qualities and excellent sound, and at a very affordable price.
Noel Hill Irish Concertina School
Noel Hill's Irish Concertina Schools have become THE standard in learning the Irish style of playing the anglo concertina. His influence, talent, and teaching ability now firmly establish him as one of the all-time greats in the concertina and Irish music worlds. His classes are suitable for players of all levels, from new concertina owners (a GREAT time to attend... BEFORE you get any bad habits!) to professionals looking for some new inspiration, technical help, and tunes.
Thomas Concertinas
Concertina makers have traditionally used the best techniques and materials available to them at the time. Jeff Thomas of Thomas Concertinas endeavors to do the same using today’s best and most durable materials. Striving for both simplicity and solidity of design, many historically standard techniques remain the most effective methods. In other cases, Thomas Concertinas introduces new techniques and refines existing traditions. Jeff's objective was to emulate the great sound, response, and action of high end instruments. Having thought through every element of the concertina considering each piece, that piece's relationship to adjacent parts and its relationship to the instrument as a whole, as well as giving the instrument much playing time, Jeff is confident that he has built an instrument that meets his own high standards of craftsmanship.
