Am I the only one that does this? The Hohner was the Beast, as in Questing Beast from the Arthurian legends (huge animal that made a sound like fifty hounds were in its belly).

The Tedrow Turbo Stagi is, naturally (to me), named Tess. Readers of the early Bloom County comic strips may remember a female rocker named...Tess Turbo.

okay, there's gotta be a way to delete this one, but I don't know what it is.

Ken! Paul! hellllllppp!!!

I dunno. I sort of like being able to vote for "all of the above". smile.gif

.......But I can see why they're worried about using something like this for a Presidential election. ph34r.gif

You also need a "No, I don't in the main, but there is one special concertina...". That'll cover me and Kilroy.

Rhomylly,

No matter what Paul or Ken can do for you, my answer is YES!! My Tina has a name: Mary (in Dutch: Marie) which is the name of my mother. After she died in 1997 she left some money, which I estimated enough to fullfill a wish that I had for a long time: to upgrade from my Hohner 20b GC to a better concertina. It took me 5 years to make a choice (which is normal for me) and buy my present Marcus 30b GC.

I name EVERYTHING. Cars, bicycles, concertinas, kitchen aid mixers, my favorite cast iron frying pan (his name is Jose). . . and my children are constantly being re-named. My 2 year old is curently Livie-Otis-Wrecks (as opposed to Rex).

But are we supposed to divulge our instruments names?? I though that was bad. Doesn't it say somewhere in Arthurian ledgend that Merlin never disclosed the name of his beloved harp. Maybe it's just that harps are shy, sensitive and demure, unlike our wildly honking squeezeboxes!
Rhomylly
Divulge if you want...I think harps are just shy!

Wow, something weird just happend with the poll and my reponse was nuked. Still, my "vote" is the same: ended up doing the "null reply" as none of the categories pertains.

Only some of by instruments (yet strangely enough, none of my squeezeboxes are), some plants, a couple of pots, my kids (we have no pets), and every car I ever owned has had/have names. Some have more than one name....

When I was gowing up in Glasgow, I remember lots of walls sprayed with the graffiti - Kilroy was here'. So it must have been a common instrument then. laugh.gif

I have not generally named my concertinas, but my miniatue is generally known as Little Tina.

Oh, Rhomylly, this was fun.

I never get to vote where I win, well usually I vote for stuff that gets trampled. I have thought of offering to vote for stuff just to guarantee it wouldn't pass.

But hey, I'm with the 100 percenters on this one.

Hey does My Accordion count for a name? Er sometimes during particularly tricky passages other names come to mind.

I think my dog has names for my concertina and accordion.

I don't believe they are family time names so probably couldn't be printed here even if I could translate what he is calling them. Scary.
