I wonder if some considerate & helpful " blighter " out there could "put up " the notes,
either dots or abc for these 2 tunes
Rathlin Island ( " sailing south from " ). a 3/4 time & also The Denver No., My darling Kathleen again I think a 3/4 no.

I don't know either tune, but both can be found using JC's tune finder (the index for available abc files-- you can find several versions of just about anything there). It is at

here's Rathlin Island - I think I worked it out for myself (together with the tabulature), which is why there are too many notes in some bars - but it works ok.

I don't know the other tune.

The other person trying to be helpful reccomended Trillian ?? . No matter what / how I "fought " with it, no joy. It only offered folders with 0kb so ....

I'm surprised. That's one of the better sites for looking up tunes. Might have had problems with their server. Are these the tunes?

The links work for me, but Rathlin Island is a different tune to the "Sailing Soutwards" one. I did not find it anywhere on the internet, thats why I had to work it out for myself. Some day I'll get round to correcting the dots.

It was very good of you to take so much trouble trying to get me "sorted" .
But the No.s that I want are both in 3/4 time as well as not being the same air ( or words )
That Kathleen is Mavournin, not the Denver one & is, I think is a much more modern one.
The Rathlin is 4/4 & entirely diff. I use abc2navigator & can change the speed & time
