I have removed this video, why should I bother to try and help anyone.

Because there are newbies like me trying to figure out chording and having a hard time that could have used the help. Thank you for the effort.

Ah, I see...I was looking on YouTube instead of the forum video section.

comments on YouTube are quite harsh at times, I think its the safety factor (they know you can't see them), just liek any forums peopel say things they would likely keep to themselves if it was face to face (or risk a fat lip).

Mostly pissed off bored middle class kids, jealous and useless, they crap on anything that makes them think.

That's a bummer, I was looking to see it myself. One can set a video to not allow comments too. It might keep away some of the riffraff. Idiots who are there just to trash people... gah.

Thanks for that very clear explanation Dick. It's a pity you felt you had to remove your video because I need to know stuff like this.
buikligger

I am considering putting the you tube video back up,perhaps for a couple of weeks.
I hope, that the content is more important, than the presentation, and will help people, which is the object of the exercise.

Please do Dick. I'm a believer that the message is more important than the medium.

Thanks

Hi Dick
Very helpful and I play Anglo but am building up my understanding of chords having been put off by a 'music' teacher at school. It's a wonder I can play at all what with all the board rulers smacked across our fingers by the sadist in the black gown, although one friend said he'd pay for that!

if your worried about comments on youtube you could always host the video on photobucket and post a link or 'embededlink' here.

I'm sorry it's gone too!

I did a Google search on "you tube concertina lessons" and lo and behold, this was the first hit. smile.gif

Then lo and behold squared, no lesson.

I haven't seen the comments on it, but as someone said, you can disable comments on YouTube. Try not to be dismayed, there are some very sad people hanging around the internet.

I'm sorry you were discouraged enough to remove it. mellow.gif
